Through our many years of experience, the performance of this stone has proved fantastic, both on the coast in direct contact with salt water and in the north under the influence of very low temperatures and freezing. It is extremely resistant to temperature changes as well as to the influence of the atmosphere.
The ratio of the volume mass of the stone with and without pores is 1.03 m / m%, which indicates a high density of limestone and low porosity. Frost resistance was tested through 25 cycles of freezing and thawing, alkali resistance was tested by direct exposure to salt, in both cases the stone remained unchanged. "DURABILITY THROUGH TIME" Nikšić stone does not need to be additionally protected, impregnated (coated). Maintenance is easy! External surfaces with pressurized water only. Indoor surfaces are maintained with water and acid-free household chemicals.
